I was always conscious of my posture on screen, both in the dramas I’ve appeared in and my time as a contestant in Strictly Come Dancing, but all the hours spent in the gym in my 20s and early 30s, didn’t improve it. My turning point came when muscle and joint pain—and reduced mobility—forced me to pause and find a solution. Diagnosed with different length legs, scoliosis and a twisted pelvis, I discovered Pilates. It changed my approach to exercise—and it’s no exaggeration to say, my life!
