Comments When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection and site security.

Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media If you upload images, please avoid using images with embedded location (EXIF GPS) data. Website visitors could download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Membership & Payment Data

Data Collected to Manage Your Membership If you register or purchase a membership, we collect your name, email address, username, and password to set up your site account. If you make a purchase, we may also collect your billing address and phone number for payment and contact purposes. This is collected via our secure checkout process powered by Paid Memberships Pro.

Payment Processing with Stripe For paid memberships or purchases, your payment details (such as card number, expiry, and CVC) are securely collected and transmitted directly to Stripe (our payment processor) in accordance with their own Privacy Policy: https://stripe.com/gb/privacy. We do not store or have access to your full payment details. Only the last 4 digits and expiry date are retained for reference, notifications about expiry, and fraud prevention.

Transactional Email via SendGrid Website-generated transactional emails (e.g., account confirmations, invoices, password resets) are sent via SendGrid, a secure email delivery service. Your email address will be shared securely with SendGrid only for the purpose of necessary communications directly relating to your account and transactions. Newsletter / Promotional Emails via Sender You may optionally opt in to our marketing newsletter by entering your email address via our signup form.
